A first time in Morocco

Within the framework of its development strategy, Palmeraie Développement once again took up the challenge of enriching and diversifying its offering in terms of innovation and leisure in Marrakech and contributing to the development of the Kingdom’s tourism. This gave rise to the launch of the Waky Marrakech, The first project of the kind in Morocco!

To ensure the success of the Waky Marrakech project, Palmeraie Développement partnered with a global reference in water skiing by calling upon the expertise of Belgian Francis Koot, a four-time cable ski world champion.

His glorious past, rigor and professionalism won him the trust of Palmeraie Développement, which led to a mutual collaboration and, in 2013, to the launch of the construction of the first cable ski facility in Morocco.
